"You don't understand anything until you can explain it to a novice." — Richard Feynman
“...I am somewhat like a french peasant cook. There are several pots in the back of the stove, and as I go by during the day’s work, I drop a carrot in one, an onion in another, a chunk of meat in another. When it comes time to prepare the meal, I take the pot which is most nearly full and bring it to the front of the stove. So it is with writing.” — Madeleine L’Engle
I, like L’Engle, have many pots at once. This blog is my stove, an unfolding portfolio of my interests.
I have been a digital designer for 10 years. I’m passionate about programming, computers, art, architecture, space, philosophy, religion, UFOs, writing, researching, et al. At work, I’m a pitch deck machine skilled at distilling the essence of an idea or a project and communicating it.
At the core of the many things I do is a passion for learning, coupled with a desire to explain things. I'm using this blog as a space to do that.
Practically speaking, I’m a 33 year-old expat in Los Angeles. Prior to being here, I lived in Berlin, Germany. I’m originally Portuguese. I work in Design and Communication for The Boxoffice Company. You can find me on LinkedIn or say hi at email@example.com.
